The dots may be a reaction to cold or wet weather; if they persist spray the plant with an organic horticultural oil which will slow fungal growth and will not harm your crop.

It doesn’t look like powdery mildew and they are insides so no insects have affected it. I’ve seen some people talk about this and say it might just be the coloration of the plant. I’m unsure and just wanted to see if there was something I should do. Thank you.

Comment on How to Plant, Grow, and Harvest Chickpeas, Garbanzo Beans by Clara https://harvesttotable.com/how_to_grow_chickpeas_garbanzo/#comment-986915 Fri, 01 Apr 2022 05:39:14 +0000 http://spalbert.wpengine.com/?p=609#comment-986915 In reply to Danielle Diakoff-King.

I use the ones I buy dried from the supermarket sold as food. They spout and grow just the same. I never buy bean seed from garden supplies anymore as the supermarket food packet is much cheaper for half a kilo of seed and you can eat what you don’t sow.

Tangelos need to be cross-pollinated with another variety of citrus to fruit.

Thanks for clarifying the statement in the article.

Potatoes can be eaten at any size. You can saute them. You can steam them. When the leaves turned yellow, that was a sign that the plant had finished its life. You were right to harvest at that time.

I live in SE Florida. I planted store bought red and white baby potatoes that sprouted eyes. They were planted in a large organic cloth container.
The leaves grew to about 2 feet tall. They turned yellow and fell over.
I pulled them 2 days ago and found several baby potatoes (golf sized) and some mini marble sized.
What do so do now? I have not washed them but I have kept them covered on top of my kitchen counter.
Thank you
